Mimulus

Overview

A leafy plant ranging from small to large and bushy, with yellow bilaterally symmetrical flowers on slender stalks in upper leaf axils. Low maintenance herbaceous perennial. Grows 1-3ft tall and 1ft wide.

Water

Keep soil moist at all times. Thrives when planted along the sides of streams or ponds.

Light

Full sun but can tolerate light shade. When rooted in moist soil, full sun

Soil

Enrich your garden soil with humus, clay, or loam. Overall, the soil should be poorly drained. Can thrive in alkaline, acidic, or neutral soil.
