Heliotrope
Overview
A shrubby perennial up to 2 metres (over 6 feet) tall but usually smaller. Any of a genus (Heliotropium) of plants of the borage family, with fragrant clusters of small, white or reddish-purple five-lobed flowers.
Water
Requires lots of water in order to thrive. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not waterlogged, and don't allow the plants to dry out
Light
Full sun. Requires at least six hours a day of direct sunlight.
Soil
The ideal conditions for growing heliotrope are a full sun location, and organically-rich, well-draining soil. The soil pH should be between 6.6 and 7.3.
