Cabbage
Overview
Head forming plant of densely packed leafy greens. Popular in many cuisine styles cabbage can be eaten cooked or raw. Prefers cooler weather and therefore usually grown in the spring and fall.
Water
Plants require consistent moisture for highest quality leaves. Allowing to dry out can cause bitter flavors and deformed leaves. Best to water with drip irrigation or other sub foliage water application to avoid water splashing on the leaves.

Full sun.
Soil
Prefers loamy, well drained, but fertile soil.
