Arctotis

Overview

Tender perennial with bright colored daisy like flowers. Foliage is finely toothed, silver and slightly fuzzy. Excellent plants for low water border or rock gardens. They also look fantastic in low maintenance mass plantings. Blooms open under bright light and will close at night and on cloudy days.

Drought tolerant once established. Appreciates light but frequent watering. Applying mulch can help reduce water requirements further.

Prefers well drained, loamy soil but will tolerate sandy soil.
