Overview

Deciduous shrub known for their extremely fragrant flowers. Roses have been popular in formal and informal gardens a like for hundreds of years. Plants are popular in ground or a proper sized container depending on variety.

Water

Plants prefer deep and thorough water and allowed to dry down some, but not completely between irrigations. Avoid water on foliage to prevent disease which many varieties can be susceptible too.

Light

Full Sun, but can benefit from afternoon shade in hot climates.

Soil

Plants prefer rich and loamy well drained soil.
