Overview

Climbing vine that has been popular for garden walls, trellises, and ground cover for hundreds of years. Aggressive growth means it can fill out an area quickly, but also needs to be pruned periodically to keep it from taking over.

Plants prefer a dry down cycle so only add supplemental water once the soil has dried out.

Soil

Plants tolerate most soil types, but prefer well drained loamy soil with average fertility.
