Iris

Overview

Brightly colored, delicate flowers pop above grass like foliage. A classic flower that has been popular in formal and informal gardens alike for hundreds of years. Flowers have a long vase life, and the plants are popular to plant along walkways or en mass on slopes.

Water

While the plants are drought resistant and will not die under low water conditions the plant will not flower or look attractive. For best flower production water consistently and deeply but allow to dry down between waterings. Do not allow to sit in standing water.

Light

Full Sun.

Soil

Plants prefer rich, well drained soil that retains a little moisture but is never soggy.
