Gerbera

Overview

The stems grow from a basal clump of dark-green leathery leaves to about 18 inches, or sometime even 30 inches, in height.

Water

Gerbera daisies need regular watering, around 1 inch per week. Water only when the soil has dried an inch or two below the surface.

Light

Gerbera daisies thrive best under full sun but do not like intense heat.

Soil

Start your gerbera daisy bed with rich soil that's high in organic matter and well-draining.
