Gazania
Overview
Low maintenance annual plant- another type of African Daisy. Can be grown in containers or in a garden bed. Flowers close at night and reopen during the day. Flowers are 3-6in in size.
Water
Requires regular watering but is drought tolerant once established. Allow soil to completely dry before watering again to prevent root rot.
Light
Full sun. Provide at least 6 hours of direct sun. Shade will cause the flowers to stay closed.
Soil
Gazanias do best in sandy to average well-draining soil.
