Delosperma

Overview

Fast growing ground cover with fleshy leaves and brightly colored flowers. Produce flowers for the whole growing season. Perennial, and evergreen in mild climates. Popular plant for rock gardens, edging and slopes.

Water

Drought tolerant once established it doesn't tolerate too much water. Apply supplemental water once a week or every other week in the hottest, driest conditions. Plants appreciate dry down cycles between irrigations all year.

Light

Full sun.

Soil

Plant requires well drained soil and will not tolerate clay or other soils that retain moisture. Tolerates nutrient poor soil.
