Bellis

Overview

Features a sprawling, flattened rosette of small, spatula-shaped, dark green leaves to 1-2” tall. Also known as English Daisy. It is an amazingly tenacious plant and can be very difficult to eradicate from lawns and golf greens.

Water

They should get watered regularly when exposed to bright sunlight. If the soil moisture dries out, the plant is less likely to have a full bloom in the spring.

Light

Full sun to partial shade. But in the southern states, it cannot tolerate the heat.

Soil

Thrives in organically rich, fertile, consistently moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade.
