Bearded Iris
Overview
Upright flowers with cascading petals. Running down the center of each fall is a “beard” that resembles a furry caterpillar. The leaves of bearded iris are flattened and sword-like, and the plants grow to varying heights.
Water
Reblooming Iris should be watered during the summer, while Spring-flowering Iris will tolerate drought. Once established, Bearded Irises do not require regular watering.
Light
Full sun will allow them to thrive. At least 6 hours of sun.
Soil
We recommend neutral to slightly acidic soil that is loose and well-drained.
