Calendula
Overview
Commonly called pot marigold, it's a popular annual that is grown in beds and borders for its daisy or chrysanthemum-like bright yellow to deep orange flowers.
Water
One to one and a half inches of water once a week. Although the plants can tolerate low-water conditions, irrigating regularly encourages summer blooming.
Light
Full sun to partial shade. Will not perform well in the hot summer sun.
Soil
Calendula is tolerant of ordinary soil, yet prefers optimal conditions that offer rich, nutritious organic soil.
