Senecio

Overview

Large genus of succulents with a variety of habits, from trailing to upright. Depending on habit varieties can be used in hanging baskets, ground cover, or specimen plants in low water succulent gardens.

Water

Prefer deep infrequent water during the growing season. Apply less supplemental water during their dormant period.

Light

Needs bright light, but is not particularly heat tolerant. Needs protection from direct light in hot climates, but in cooler or indoor areas does best with full sun.

Soil

Plants require loose, well drained soil.
