Sedum

 

Overview

Very large genus of succulent plants with a wide variety of habits and foliage colors. Some of brightly colored flowers. Depending on the habit sedums can be popular specimen plants for low water succulent gardens, or as creeping ground cover in rock gardens or along walkways.

Water

Once established these succulents do not require much supplemental water except in very hot dry conditions. Plants prefer deep infrequent water when needed.

Light

Full sun.

Soil

Plants require loose, well aerated soil with very good drainage.
