Overview

Popular house plant grown for its strikingly colorful foliage. Will produce tiny flowers, but they are not particularly interesting. Plants thrive in hanging baskets and other indoor containers.

Water

Plants prefer frequent but light irrigation to keep soil moist but never saturated. Avoid soggy soil. Plants will likely require more water in the warm season and less in the cooler season.

Light

Bright indirect indoor light.

Soil

Plants prefer rich, loose, well drained potting soil.
