Water

Thyme thrives with very little watering. Only water every 10–15 days. It can also thrive in colder months as a hardy plant.

Light

Does best in full-sun and hot conditions.

Soil

Space plants 12 to 24 inches apart in fertile, well-drained soil with a pH around 7.0. You can improve the soil by mixing in several inches of aged compost or other rich organic matter.
