Overview

Also known as the snake plant, Sansevieria are stemless everygreen perennials that make a popular indoor plant due to their extremely low maintenance profile. They are one of the few plants that tolerates low light conditions and up to a month of no watering.

Water

Tolerates drought but for optimal growth water when the soil is dry to the touch.

Light

Snake plants thrive in bright, indirect light but will still tolerate low light.

Soil

Succulent soil mix is a good choice for snake plants because they need a well-draining type that is slightly acidic; however, they can grow in any type of soil.
