Phlox

Overview

Large genus of flowering plants that can be either annuals or perennials, upright or creeping, warm or cool season blooming depending on the species. All have attractive flowers in various shades of pink, purple, and white and prefer dappled shade conditions. Popular flowers for cottage gardens, along naturalized paths, and other informal gardens.

Irrigate lightly but frequently to keep soil evenly moist but never saturated. Using mulch will help the soil retain moisture.
