Pericallis

Overview

Tender perennial often grown as an annual with extremely vibrant daisy like flowers that pop above deep green foliage. Does best in cooler parts of the spring and is often used for brilliant early spring color in patio containers.

Plants prefer frequent but light irrigation to keep soil moist but never saturated. Avoid soggy soil, and if possible use sub foliage irrigation styles like drip irrigation to prevent crown rot.
