Overview

Succulent plant that thrives in harsh desert conditions by growing mostly underground and leaves that resemble low stones poking above the ground. Fun plant to grow in containers, or cactus gardens in the right environment.

Water

Plants live in such harsh environments that watering these plants can be tricky. They prefer deep dry down cycles. Only supply occasional water during the growing season.

Requires loose soil with lots of airspace and sharp drainage. Thrives in nutrient poor soil.
