Hemerocallis

Overview

Beautiful perennial plants with lily like flowers and grass like foliage. Low maintenance, pollinator friendly, and drought tolerant these are popular flowers for low water rock gardens, low maintenance borders, and naturalized plantings.

Water

Drought tolerant once established. Add supplemental water regularly in the first year, but only add supplemental water during dry spells after that. Mulch helps retain moisture.

Light

Full sun.

Soil

Plants tolerate most soil type, but for optimal blooms plant in well drained, rich and loamy soil.
