Echinacea

Overview

An herbaceous, drought-tolerant perennial plant growing up to 140 cm or 4 feet, in height.

Water

These easy-care perennials require regular watering of about an inch per week.

Light

Provide at least four hours of sunlight per day. The plants grow natively along the edges of woodlands, so they will thrive in spots with morning shade and afternoon sun or vice versa.

Soil

Adaptable to most soil types but prefers a sandy, well-drained loam and a pH from 6.0 to 7.0.
