Dryopteris

Overview

Delicately toothed fronds emerge in bright autumn colors of bronze, copper, and red and change to green as they age. Small, low maintenance fern is great for shady plantings along walkways, or in patio containers.

Requires regular water, in areas with dry season add supplemental water to keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Mulch helps retain moisture.
