Cyclamen

Overview

It is a tuberous flowering perennial that regrows quickly each fall. Fragrant flowers pop above delicately patterned leaves from fall until spring. Popular landscape plant for borders in cooler months.

Water

Moderate water needs. Water only when soil is dry to the touch. Leaves and flowers will become droopy if it gets too dry. Water from below the leaves so that it doesn't touch the stems or leaves.

Light

Requires bright, filtered light or full winter sun. Will get scorched in direct summer sun.

Soil

Requires organically rich, well-draining soil with a slightly acidic soil pH.
