Overview

Herbaceous perennial that is grown as an annual in cooler climates. Produces large showy flowers and glossy green leaves. Popular plant for containers, or along shaded and protected borders and walkways. Attractive to pollinators.

Water

Plant prefers consistent, moderate moisture and higher humidity. Consider adding mulch around the plant to help retain water and increase humidity.

Light

Dappled or full shade.

Soil

Plant prefers a rich and loose soil.
