Coprosma

Overview

Low maintenance, evergreen shrub with fine, shiney foliage. Often used as hedges along walkways and borders.

Water

Drought tolerant once established. Requires regular water the first year, but after establishing plants will only need occasional supplemental water especially during the hot and dry season.

Light

Full sun, but benefits from afternoon shade in hot and dry environment.

Soil

Prefers well drained, rich but sandy soil, but tolerates many soil types as long as not waterlogged.
