Calandrinia

Overview

Low maintenance succulent plant with fleshy leaves and beautiful bright purple flowers that arch on long stalks above foliage. Heat and drought tolerant. Popular in mass plantings or in low water rock and border gardens.

Water

Drought tolerant once established. Add supplemental water during the hottest, driest conditions. Do not add supplemental irrigation in winter dormancy.

Light

Full sun to part shade.

Soil

Prefers well in most soil types as long as it is well drained.
